An Australian agrifood company approached TRADATA with a clear request: they wanted a reliable understanding of China’s mung bean market—who the major buyers were, which regions produced the most stable supply, and how pricing trends were shifting. Searching online didn’t help; most information was scattered, outdated, or only available in Chinese.
TRADATA conducted a focused, end-to-end market study. We identified China’s key mung bean producing regions, reviewed recent harvest data, and analyzed processing capacity and export history for each major supplier. Using local Chinese databases and agricultural reports, we compiled accurate insights that were not accessible outside the country.
On the demand side, we built a verified list of importers, wholesalers, and food manufacturers who regularly purchase mung beans. Each company was checked for product requirements, purchase scale, certifications, and contact information. We also compared local market prices and mapped how they changed across provinces.
All findings were translated into clear English and presented in a structured format so the client could quickly understand the market landscape and identify real opportunities.
The result was a complete, practical view of China’s mung bean supply chain—giving the Australian client confidence in deciding which partners to approach and how to position their offerings.
